Please join this week’s Online Reading of Greek Tragedy with Euripides’ drama, “Rhesus.” Rhesus takes place during the Trojan War, on the night when Odysseus and Diomedes sneak out into the Trojan camp. The same event is narrated in Book Ten of Homer's Iliad, though in the play, the interlude with Dolon is moved to the background, and much more is revealed about Rhesus and the reactions of the Trojans to his murder. Hosted by Joel Christensen, with special guest Mary Ebbott. Presented by the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies, the Kosmos Society, and the Out of Chaos Theatre. Stream this archived video HERE.
