Please join this week’s Online Reading of Greek Tragedy with Aeschylus’ powerful drama, “Agamemnon.” The Agamemnon is the first of the three plays within the Oresteia trilogy. It details the homecoming of Agamemnon, King of Mycenae, from the Trojan War, and his murder at the hands of his wife, Queen Clytemnestra, who awaits him. Hosted by Joel Christensen, with special guests Fiona Macintosh and Oliver Taplin. Presented by the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies, the Kosmos Society, and the Out of Chaos Theatre.
