Minnijean Brown Trickey works to reignite the philosophy of nonviolence as a way of life for the next generation. She will speak of the power of centering nonviolence in every aspect of her life, and share her journey of being thrust into the international spotlight as one of the first nine Black students (Little Rock Nine) to desegregate Little Rock Central High School in 1957, telling how the practice of nonviolence shielded her spirit in the face of grave danger and violence.
