The last Sunday sermon of Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr., delivered on March 31, 1968, from the Canterbury Pulpit at The Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the City and Diocese of Washington, commonly known as Washington National Cathedral. In this sermon, known as “Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution,” Dr. King refers to Psalm 133, The Gospel of Saint Luke 16:19-31, and the Book of Revelation 21:5.
