Rituals and Revelations: Re-thinking Comparative Approaches to the Study of Religion will feature distinguished guest speaker, Michael Puett, Walter C. Klein Professor of Chinese History and Anthropology at Harvard University. Dr. Puett will undertake to re-think comparative categories employed in the study of religion, examine how attitudes toward them have shifted in recent decades, and suggest a middle path of correction.
